A: Engineers Members

The Engineer Member should:

  • Have a bachelor degree or higher in engineering or architecture from a recognized university or institute qualifying him to bear the title of Engineer as per the criteria approved by the Society.
  • Members accepted prior to this regulation are exempted from the above condition.

 

B: Fellow Members

  • Membership title granted by OSE Board of Directors for member engineers that actively contributing to the society and the engineering profession advancement and development.

 

C: Technician Members

The Technician Member should:

  • Have a diploma or higher in engineering or architecture from a recognized university or institute qualifying him/her to bear the title of technician as per the criteria approved by the Society.
  • Members accepted prior to this regulation are exempted from the above condition.

 

D: Affiliate Members

  • The Affiliate Member is a category granted by OSE Board of Directors for members (Omani & Non Omani) who work and are interested in engineering profession but do not carry engineering qualification. It is not allowed for affiliate members to use the title engineer.
  • The Student Member should be a regular engineering student in a recognized university or institute.
  • The Board of Directors may grant the title of Honorary Member to the person who benefits the Society morally, financially or scientifically, or has merits in engineering related sciences regardless of practicing the engineer’s profession.
  • This membership category is made for engineering and consultancy offices and establishments. It will be governed by separate internal regulations.

 

E: Student Members

  • The Student Member should be a regular engineering student in a recognized university or institute.
  • The Board of Directors may grant the title of Honorary Member to the person who benefits the Society morally, financially or scientifically, or has merits in engineering related sciences regardless of practicing the engineer’s profession.
  • This membership category is made for engineering and consultancy offices and establishments. It will be governed by separate internal regulations.

 

F: Honorary Members

  • The Board of Directors may grant the title of Honorary Member to the person who benefits the Society morally, financially or scientifically, or has merits in engineering related sciences regardless of practicing the engineer’s profession.

 

G: Corporate Members

  • This membership category is made for engineering and consultancy offices and establishments. It will be governed by separate internal regulations.
